Forgetting to look? Are you insane? Who doesn't look at the toilet seat before they sit? There could be a number of nasty things on that seat

The same logic could be applied to the fact women seem to back into the bathroom when they have to go. I mean, unless the toilet is in some strange place, how do you not catch a glimpse of it when you walk in?

You'd be surprised. Some people turn around too quickly in order to close the door first and forget to look down. The toilet seat isn't exactly at eye level, so the truth is, some people just don't notice until they sit down.

Females should want the toilet seat left up. Sound crazy? Suppose the toilet seat is down and a guy has to go really bad and forgets to put the toilet seat up. Guys that have to go really bad usually have bad aim. Girls need to check before they sit.

I think guys need to have a little respect and put the seat down. Its nasty to go to the bathroom and sit down on that part of the toilet. And most girls are so tiny, that when they sit on it they're but touches the water. Now that's nasty. Have some respect. You guys on Here act like its oh do hard to put a seat down. Grow up.

And that's one of the reasons I don't pee standing. I cannot lose this sexist battle.

I'm a girl and I don't find it that big of a deal. Women saying that men are lazy for not putting the seat down are just pots calling the kettles black, considering that you're complaining that you don't want to have to put it down yourself.

The toilet seat and lid-thingy has a function or it wouldn't be there. It prevents bad smell and bacteria to spread in the bathroom. For an example, if you flush when you have to toilet lid open, o whorde of bacteria i spread across the room compared to when you have the lid down. Please put the seat back into it's original place when you're done.
